Theater Popcorn Favor

I have a great idea for a wedding gift for your guests--a theater popcorn favor. Go to a store like Party City and buy some small red and white striped bags that look like movie popcorn containers. Most party stores have a movie theme section. Fill these with unpopped popcorn, tie with a bow, and voila, a delicious movie treat that your guests can take home later.

You could have a whole movie theme reception, showing old black and white movies or Father of the Bride with Steve Martin or the old one with Elizabeth Taylor. Have the movie playing in one section of the reception hall, not too loudly. Hang movie posters with wedding themes. Have an old-fashioned movie popcorn cart and pop corn on the premises for your guests.
