The Parade Engagement

It was September 29 2007 and Ryan proposed to me when he was in the parade for DSU homecoming. I was walking in the parade for the school library which was planned by Ryan so the proposal would work.

Ryan was standing on the sidelines with a large sign that said “Cassie, will you marry me?” At first I didn’t even see it I was looking at my cute little nephew who looked scared.

Finally I looked up and realized what was going on and of course said yes. Everyone knew what was going on except me. Both my family and his family were there for the occasion. It was perfect!!!!
