The Love Chapter

We used the love chapter, I Corinthians 13. I guess it is a cliche, but this is a beautiful passage of the Bible and it is perfect for weddings. Paul describes a kind of love that everyone wants and so few have. He is really talking about the kind of love that can only come from God. Love is patient, love is kind, and we are not patient or kind most of the time. We really have to work at it. Patience and kindness are vital to our marriage relationship. If we would be patient and kind, and stopped being so selfish, most marriages would last. Divorce would go away and a lot more couples would stay together until death do us part!
