San Antonio Riverwalk Honeymoon

by Cynthia
(Dallas)

San Antonio River Cruise

San Antonio River Cruise

We took a San Antonio Riverwalk honeymoon this past fall 2009. We flew to San Antonio from Dallas. Got in to town in the afternoon and took a shuttle from the airport to downtown San Antonio. We made reservations online ahead of time and stayed at the Hilton Palacio del Rio on the Riverwalk. The room was beautiful and the view was fabulous. We walked the San Antonio River and shopped. We ate on the Riverwalk every meal and it was great.

It was very warm in the fall so we wore summer clothes. We got to swim in the hotel pool. We took a river cruise and had a great time shopping in the River Center Mall, also on the Riverwalk. We visited the Alamo close by and got to go up the Tower of the Americas. We ate at the restaurant on top of it. Beautiful view. Everything is so conveniently located downtown on or near the Riverwalk.

We left downtown to go to SeaWorld San Antonio on Saturday and spent the whole day there. It is a great place.

San Antonio is a great place for a vacation. I suggest you take a San Antonio Riverwalk honeymoon, too!
