Ruth 1:16-17 For Your Wedding

I have always loved the words that Ruth tells Naomi in this passage. No they were not meant to be a vow from man to wife or vice versa but they can be and they are so beautiful.....


16And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

You are right. This is a great wedding Bible passage. As we get married, we should feel this way. If both husband and wife do not feel this way, the marriage will not last long. Thank you for sharing!
