Cheap Wedding Bag

Every bride needs a cheap wedding bag to carry a lipstick, a comb, tissues, and some facial powder for touch-ups throughout her big day. A small clutch or other small bag is perfect.

During the actual wedding ceremony, leave your bag with your mother or another relative and then get it after the ceremony as that is when you will need to touch up your lipstick, have a breath mint, take a Motrin, etc.

My daughter just crocheted the prettiest little white clutch that is perfect for a bride to carry. She made the pattern up on her own.

Below is the first bag design that Tiffany made just today, 11/28/09. The second photo shows it is big enough for a box of Reese's Pieces to fit in it.

If you are handy with a crochet needle, you can probably whip one up in no time as well!

You can crochet your own using double crochet stitches. She crocheted the sides together and then folded the top down over the front panel. It looks great. She did not line the bag, but it is designed to just carry a few light things so that should not be a problem. This first one is large enough that her wallet and cell phone fit into it.

You can also sew a bag easily enough, with or without a handle to carry your necessary items.

You can find small wedding bags to buy in Wal-Mart or Dollar Tree as well. Your cheap wedding bag can be white, cream, silver, gold, or whatever color you like. You can buy a small makeup bag. A makeup bag is the perfect size. After all, it is your special day and you can carry whatever you want to carry. There are no real rules. You just want it to look pretty and be functional.
