Cheap Medieval Wedding Dresses

If you are into the Renaissance, maybe you would like to see some cheap medieval wedding dresses. Each year, there are many Renaissance fairs across the country, and many couples use the Renaissance as a theme for their weddings.

The wedding dresses are gorgeous, but your groom may not like the idea of prancing down the aisle in a pair of tights and elf shoes! Think "Robin Hood: Men In Tights"--hysterical movie, but the outfits were not exactly masculine, right? So if you have your heart set on this, talk it over with your guy and realize that not all men are cut out to wear medieval costumes on their wedding day.

I know my husband would not be caught dead like that out in public and neither would either of my two adult sons...so don't be upset if your Sir Gallahad refuses. If you were him, you probably wouldn't wear the tights either, right?

Maybe you could compromise and let him wear real pants, regular shoes and a medieval shirt and hat. Maybe he could also wear a bow and a quiver filled with manly arrows. You could tell him that he is a manly hunter, and that you will skip the tights. If he still says no, you wear the dress and let him wear a tux. Trust me, you will make a very striking couple and everyone will love your dress!

If you watched Gilmore Girls, you may remember the episode where Luke's sister Liz marries her new hubby in a Renaissance wedding. She has a gorgeous medieval wedding gown and he actually wears green tights with no pants--a little weird, but this episode will give you some ideas if you want to have a Renaissance wedding.

Below are some wedding dresses for you to browse. Clicking on the dress you like will take you to E-Bay for a closer look. If you like what you see, buy it before it is gone!
