Which are the best wedding magazines? Go to any bookstore or newsstand and you will see a lot of bridal publications, more than you could have imagined! It is a bit overwhelming. Since I've been doing research for my site, I have read them all.
This page is about my favorites, the ones I think will help you the most as you plan for the biggest party of your life so far, your wedding.
My favorite of all the best wedding magazines is Martha Stewart Weddings. As always, anything with Martha Stewart's name is top of the line and this is no exception. It is filled with useful information to plan your wedding. The stories are relevant for today's brides. The photos are beautiful and pertain to the articles.
Currently, you can buy a copy from any newsstand for $6.95, a real bargain for what you get. The only drawback is that they come out only once a quarter. You can subscribe to the best bridal planning magazine by visiting
Martha Stewart.com
for $16.00 for one year. I recommend a subscription if you are planning on a long engagement, at least a year or more.
Another of my favorite best wedding magazines is The Knot, currently put out four times a year for $9.99 an issue. It has lots of helpful information and beautiful photos are packed into each issue.
The Knot also comes out in a regional magazine for $4.99 an issue. For instance, I buy The Knot Texas. Look for both in your area on newsstands. For additional information, visit
The Knot.com.
Helpful best wedding magazines should have a variety of articles in each issue dealing with cakes, dresses, flowers, rings, decorations, budget, hair, makeup, the reception, and potential wedding day problems.
Some have columns where you can send in questions about your wedding. Experts answer the most often asked questions which can be helpful to all brides.
Another magazine you should read is Brides, costing $5.99 an issue. For more information, go to
Brides.com.
Brides has a lot of great articles, but it is also filled with page after page of wedding dress ads. Seeing the photos of a lot of wedding dresses can be helpful if you do not have an idea of the type of dress you want, but too much of a good thing.....
Modern Bride is also on my list of favorites, at $5.99 an issue. Modern Bride has a lot of wedding dress advertisements, but not as many as Brides magazine.
You can get more information about this publication at
Brides.com.
I recently started selling my bridal magazines that I have accumulated over the past three years since I have been building this website to make room in my house for new ones. I have a store on Amazon called
Princess Tiffany's Used Stuff
where you can find my old wedding magazines, along with other books, DVDs, and magazines that belong to my family. We have already sold quite a few. The Martha Stewart ones are going like hotcakes so hurry for lots of great ideas over the past three years and I will ship your magazine out to you right away.
So the above-mentioned publications are the best wedding magazines, in my opinion.
